Going Home

Today all the family is going home. One last lunch together and we will all go our seperate ways.
Our menu was homemade bread, turkey chili, and Cowboy Caviar.
Cowboy Caviar
1 each chopped - red and orange bell pepper
1/2 red onion, diced
4 stalks of celery, diced
1 can shoepeg corn, drained
1 can pinto beans w/jalapeno, drained
1 can black eyed peas w/jalapeno, drained
1 can black beans, drained
Sauce:
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c sugar
1 c vegetable oil
Bring the vinegar and oil to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in the sugar until it is dissolved.
Cool.
Pour the marinade over the veggies and refirgerate at least 24 hours.
Eat with Wheat Thins or tortilla chips.
