Cold Frame Plans

Everything I have learned about cold frame building plans , I learned from my friend David. I first met David and Susan, through the Green Bay school system. Both of our children had the priviledge of having David and Susan for teachers. FYI, after David and Susan retired, they both pursued healthy living and exercise. To date, collectively I think they have lost approximately 220 lbs. Both of them are an inspiration to Don and I. While Erik was in Iraq, David and Susan checked in on us on a daily basis and provided support to us.


Healthy Skin

The best health & beauty advice that I learned this year is to use a softening skin cleanser. This comes from watching my oldest sister, who has great looking skin.

Did you know that 60% of topical skin care products are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream?

I started using an aloe vera based gentle cleanser. My face feels great. The bonus of this particular product is that it has a great smell. It reminds me of my mother's coldcream when I was a kid. ( I loved to cuddle up to my mom and smell her).

Here is this week's great recipe to add to my healthy eating list. It was made by Carol, one of the cooks at the hospital. She grilled a flatbread and on top she placed grilled zucchini, onions, bell peppers and chicken strips. Finally she topped with shredded mozzarella.

I found a similar Zucchini and Mozzarella Flatbread recipe in the May 2010 issue of Fitness Magazine. It's a keeper.
